What, what, what's on your workdesk Wednesday?

Hello there and welcome to my blog and desk...both back from the brink of beyond! Finally, I managed to scrape a few spare moments together and say a brief bonjour to my craft room (albeit with a feisty baby tugging at my leg and little fingers trying to sneak an ink pad off the table...) Seems like life with my little one just gets busier and busier lately. I think I might have to wait for the infamous teenage years for a day off or a lie in. Anyway, I'm glad to join the ranks of all the other mid week exhibitionists over at WOYWW?  This is my desk and debris after a dabble with a tag or two...

As I have no brain space for thinking, let alone inking, I needed a bit of inspiration to get going, so I decided to play along with the August tag from Mr. Tim. It's another huuuuge tag but I think I will turn it into a card by adding a tag shaped base. Another one for the collection then. My craft room is at bursting point as all the projects and design pieces room from the last few years pile up. What do you do with all your "stuff you make"???
Well, the clock ticks on and I am determined to visit my bed before silly o'clock arrives. Here's to a week with plenty of what you need, like and fancy! Be seeing you soon... Sarah.

We have the same dilemma of what to do with all the stuff we make, so far it sits in a box, waiting, for what we're not sure!

Hi Sarah, great to see your desk again and can quite understand the difficulty of crafting with a tot wanting to join in the fun too. You'll be fine once she's through the 'terrible twos' stage :)

What do I do with the stuff I make, usually I give it away ... I need the room for all the lovely pieces folk send me :))

Nice to see you back at your desk there. I am sure Ruby will join you on there soon!
What do I do with my stuff, I recycle or reuse most of it! Or try and sneak it away as pressies!

Love your tag Sarah. Yes I understand how the cards/projects pile up and so this year I decided to package them up and donate them to my mum and the many community groups she's part of, to sell to raise funds. Some I will give as gifts or donate to the local hospital who have a volunteer group that also run a gift shop. Cheers RobynO 48

I used to make loads of cards but had the same dilemma as you, now I only make cards as commissions or for friends and family birthdays and do scrapbooking instead.

You will get more time when school starts, not much but some:)

I did try selling cards on etsy, to no avail so also just make them for friends and family now. My art projects I have in folders, the display folders with plastic holders in them.

Sarah I ask myself the same questions. Where do I put it once it's made? It's one thing if it's an album but a craft piece needs a home and there is not much space left for that in my craft room.

BTW, I love the lighting in your photos. Really beautiful.

The Tim tag looks great.

I too have challenges of getting crafting in with two boys. One is 9 and the other is 5 but summer they are up under me and often want all of my attention. The balance thing is out of sorts right now but when school starts back, I will have more time again (Yippee!!)

Nice to meet you.
Have a blessed day!

How well I remember those days! My son is now 22 and my daughter, 19 and at last I have crafting time, but very little space in which to play. I love your work and have meant to comment so many times, but just not had a minute. I love your tag, beautifully stamped - wonderful grunge effect: superb! Julie Ann xx #39

It's been a LONG time since I've visited you. I love your projects, and this tag is no exception. Turning it into a card will get it off your desk and into someone else's hands. I usually give all my craft projects away, but none of mine have ever looked as good as yours.

Happy WOYWW from #1.

Fab Tag! I usually end up pinning tags and canvases to the walls of my craft room. Think it's great that you manage to play at all with a little one to distract you! They still distract you as teenagers, just in different ways! Hugs. Pam#33

Great tag! I like how you stamped the car in three different positions. :) Happy WOYWW from Laura (who is just visiting this week, having had no time to post yesterday!)

Love to see messy craft desks, it means it is worked at :)
