What's on your workdesk Wednesday??? And giveaway!

Tis the hour for WOYWW greetings yet again...and May ones too. Cor Blimey, both time and sanity are a fleeting things. I'm actually VERY glad to be at my desk and not on a hospital trolley. That persistent cough stayed put and I awoke yesterday to find my legs had suddenly been kidnapped and replaced with two uber prime pork sausages. "Eeeek, I look like my Great Auntie Elsie!" It's not often you look at your own legs and become nostalgic about both family and BBQs...
"Who's that?" asks post auntie Belgian hubby. Someone who was as loving as she was wide... As a young child I was always mesmerised by her washing line and the surface area of her knee length flowery knickers... Anyway I was sent off to hospital by the midwife, had a full MOT, and all is well. Just tired, all coughed out and typical vintage mum stuff... I've also been reunited with my ankles. Amen.
C'est moi, again, in June's Craft Stamper where I have two articles. This is a peek of some Dad stuff!
Venturing further with the inky art journal thing which is way too addictive already. I was late for the hospital because I was scrubbing Wild Plum and Lettuce Color Wash off my fingers - and I had to hoover (???) Women.
The hand squiggles are still brewing but I do love my typewriter. This is a line from a fab Paloma Faith song. Quite fitting for an art journal.
I have two copies of the new Craft Stamper magazine (just in case we need to build the ark...) If you would like this copy just let me know below and I'll be happy to post one off to somebody.
Still reading mine but I have seen a fabuloso article from WOYWWer Trish Latimer and there's a free swirly stamp from Jennie too!
That's it from the funny farm here. Until we meet again, Sarah.

Hi Sarah,

If you're drawing names for the mag put mine in the hat, please! How cool that a fellow WOYWWer is in it.

Oh, you poor thing (legs and ankles). I must confess, I have always had big legs.... haaaa My two friends are also dealing with the swelling of pregnancy. Take it easy and put your feet up!!

Happy WOYWW

I see you made it to number 1 again. You must sit on Julia's blog. I just happened to stop by and hit it at about the right time. I'm not sure if you would put my name in the hat for the magazine, but I don't think we get it here in the states. Not sure, but it's one I have never seen. have a great WOYWW from number 4.

UK Craft Stamper is my favourite magazine and we are about two months behind getting them here (Australia). Don't send it to me (much as I would like it), because the postage would probably be more than the cost of the magazine. But I would be pleased to send you an ATC at the appropriate time (no matter what number you are), so let me know your snail mail addy, if you would like that. Happy WOYWW! and take it easy!

Loving your Art Journal page. I guess you make up your own stencil shapes to use by the looks of it - maybe I'm wrong. And TYPEWRITER hmmmm wondering it my old one is still in the loft. I have my laptop upstairs and the printer is down so I often don't bother to print out stuff. The typewriter would be a great solution. THANKS BJ. Oh and I'd love to go in the draw for the magazine as it might give me some incentive to stamp more. Thanks kindly BJ#18

I love the MMOJOM post yesterday, for some reason can't comment on it from FB...again, I think it's an ipad/blogger problem. Your desk looks lovely - if a little intimidating for a gal like me that doesn't use the bottled stuff so much. But am happy to see that the surface you're working on becomes your work surface, very much a habit of mine. So, have you needed to replace a typewriter ribbon? From where did you find?
Very glad the porky legs weren't a serious sign...oh my word do take it easy, you so don't want to be forced into bed for the last 6 weeks!

Are you shipping copies to the US? I have yet to find a shop that carries the publication in my area...rats! I remember those days of swollen ankles that truly do resemble sausages and the baby flipping over and causing a fast run to the toilet before overflow occurs. I sympathize and it is over soon...hang in there. Congrats on the pub by the way. Vickie #91

I think you must have a sixth sense when it comes to WOYWW posts, no matter what time Julia posts you're always first!! It made me smile to see that you're number 1 again! Can't be long now til the wee one arrives can it? Hopefully no more dashes to the hospital before then. I'd certainly love a copy of the magazine as I can't get it over here but I do buy it on the odd occasions when I'm home of course.

Hi, been meaning to comment all week, I follow your blog everyday but on my phone so commenting is a nightmare on there lol. Love your journalling it is fantastic. Think I'm going to check out the course you mentioned, I have done a course which is done but you still see the material, by Christy Tomlinson, her workshops are also fab and I think you would really like her work, you could check her out on google and see her She Arts they are fab. I also have Katie Cranes DVDs which are fab, but guess what I still haven't started. I suffer with OCD and sometimes for me it's not the right time to do something so I can't start, weird how OCD can effect you. Absolutely love the tags and the grungy butterflies. I have that wooden stamp but still not used it, still frightened of the whole inky bit, mind you I have learned alot from Chemistry 101 I was inspired by you to take it and finally I understand lol. Aren't the new Distress inkpads spring lush? I can't believe I didn't do the tag mojo month, just didn't see to happen but going to have a go of the flowers, mind you it's horrible accounts month so I hoping I have time. I go to artsycrafts in June I'm mega excited. Will you take a break from mojo monthly when baby is born? Right I shall go, sorry it's a long comment lol. I also wanted to know if I could send you a woyww ATC? I haven't done them before, but I entered last year and thought this year as Julia said you could do a few extra to others you follow. Don't worry I'm not expecting one back you have lots to do but If you don't want me to I understand. Happy woyww, late again :-) Kezzy xxx p.s Shan is doing really well and finally has put on weight so not underweight anymore. We have been experimenting with cooking and baking. She is 16 this year and would like a party with family and mates and I have promised her that 90% will be Gluten free, so some of my mates will be making bits and my other mate has a mate that does cakes professionally and they will be making a full Gluten free birthday cake. xxxx
