Howdy Folks,
I'm diving straight in with the low-down for Less is More. It's the colour of your eyes! Well, mine I mean. Sounds quite simple except when you look and see a fair amount of green, a bit of brown and hints of blue. I didn't want the colour palette resembling compost so I went with the green and brown tones, continued my quick card ideas phase and rustled up some rustic Chrimbo cards...
Love this dotty Bazzilll card, it's such a fab green. I glued a vintage page to some card and embossed it with a Quickutz folder, picking up the detail with some Peeled paint Distress ink and roughed up the edges.
I cut out a star from some scrap card (salvaged from a hot drink holder), swiped over some gesso and when dry added the brown tints with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I cut out and stamped a mini tag from Kraft card, and just needed to add some string.
Thought I'd use up the other half of the green card and flipped things kind of sideways.
On this one I threaded the tag onto the string. I used my trusty peg stamps for the Festive words, they're so darn handy! Now that's three Chrimble cards made. Only seventy six more to go...
For any Craft Stamper magazine readers out there our very talented Chrissie is on page 48 doing her designer stuff with some funky colours!!!
