WOYWW????

Firstly, I am going to be a real Brit and wave a flag and a nappy for the new Royal Prince. Welcome your royal highness. Blue blood or not, they all do great bottom burps in public!

This WOYWW? post comes in full holiday fashion live from the Belgian coast where it is also...phew, a scorcher!  Just a short walk from the sea and hooray a breeze too. After the terrible packing palaver (sigh...) and enduring a testing lifetime (well, so it seemed) entertaining my "Why am I held hostage" baby in the car, we skimmed over the Channel and on to   Blankenberge which is as traditional as you can get as seasides go... Ice cream, chips, holiday shops full of twaddle, promenade jammed with kiddies on bikey stuff, and the entertaining full range of brown, red and white bodies...
So not much of a craft desk to see...  I just managed to grab some magazines in the hope of finding a few moments to let my mind imagine what I might create during a fantasy free day of inkiness... Who knows? Maybe I can alter those stacking cups or emboss the
Lego?
Right, time to go, it's taken hours to write this on the iPad with a random Internet connection I found floating past the window. But, hey, I made it!
Bye for now. Leaving you with Ruby on the ferry who was so excited to see so much floor space and  water... I was excited to see a cuppa and a catch a whiff of Eau d'holiday...

    Have a wonderful holiday Sarah, hope you get a few minutes to yourself to plan and dream your next project. I got a bit tired with the Americans going on about the Royal birth for the last week,one guy I work with was asking me if there was any news about every ten minutes on Monday! I finally reminded them that they well and truly told us what they thought of the crown in 1776 so please don't be so hypocritical!!

    Have a lovely holiday in Belgium. I have friends in Brussels, but the only sea-side I've ever been to there is Ostend! I've been looking for your blog on previous weeks because I once saw some truly lovely work you did via Julia's blog.     I am a born souvenir hunter, I LOVE the twaddle shops. Some of my kitsch est and most loved rubbish came from places just like -so I'm a bit jealous! I tell ya, holidaying with a toddler is exhausting..and trying to blog from an ipad is just the pits, frankly - so you're winning!

    Writing on iPad is a pain. Lego pieces make great stamps according to Kate Crane. Have a lovely time and dig in to the pomme Frites and Des moules. Maybe I spelled it all wrong!!!

    Hi Sarah, yes, gone are the days when you simply threw a few clothes into a bag and then threw the bag into the car boot and you were good to go! Baby's come with a houseful of necessities which all have to be transported. Hope you find an idle moment to read, not just flick through but read, those magazines. Have a wonderful holiday, Ruby certainly looks as though she is enjoying herself, and come back brown rather than red or white :)) Elizabeth x #37
